So the other day my wife asked me if I was a landscape photographer or a flower photographer. So is there a difference, I questioned. I don’t think so. What interests me about the landscape is the found shapes and nearly infinite random variations found in any scenic landscape. This includes the broad vistas that make for beautiful images as well as the micro components of the landscape, the flowers, grasses, rocks, in short the pieces of the larger whole. So I photograph both without distinction.
