Often I am asked what camera(s) I use or how many megapxels I have at my disposal. I’m not sure why this is important but I can count on the fact that no matter where I am exhibiting I am asked these questions. Politely, I respond that I mostly shoot with a Canon 30d with a bit over 8 megapixels. Then, without fail, I am asked how I get the image so clear with so few megapixels. I just want to scream but I always point out that more is not necessarily better rather that resolution and lens quality is a greater contributor to image quality than technical factors.
