Roger Passman
who are we?
Roger has been making pictures since he was 13 years old. It all began with a home darkroom kit and a red light. The experience of seeing an image appear seemingly from nowhere on a roll of film dunked in a developer solution was like watching a magic show. He was hooked.
Long after that experience and with the advent of digital imagery, he is still at the craft of making stunning photographic images.
Roger regularly exhibits his work at local and regionial art fairs. His work currently hangs on walls from Florida to California.
Roger believes that photographs provide us with windows to our most important experiences allowing us to connect with a past remembered. Being an image maker, a photographer, then creates a special responsibility to capture that which is remembered. This does not mean that one tries to accurately capture what is, but that one dig deeply into what might be as represented by what is. In other words, a responsibility to see beyond just what is and, through the creativity of lens, light and medium, create a vision worthy of being remembered.
our studio approach
We insist on having fun. We play music, laugh a lot, and crack jokes during your time on set. If you are having fun it shows in the images we create. This is such a simple concept that gets lost in many studios.
We spend time with you to assure that we get all the images we can get. This approach is one we call Creative Candid Photography. We don’t limit our shoots to two or three poses, twenty minutes, and one change of clothing. We look for unique opportunities to capture the great image. We don’t quit until everyone is exhausted.
We show you everything. Your images are uploaded to a personal, password protected website and you get to browse to your hearts content. We also prepare a DVD with a selection of images we think are the best of the lot. We share this DVD with you within ten business days after your shoot when we meet post production. Our clients love this service.
